Abstract visualization of a neural network representing an AI agent workflow
Nexora agents chain reasoning steps and tool calls to complete multi-step tasks.

Autonomous AI agents are quickly becoming the backbone of modern SaaS products — automating research, data entry, customer support, and more. In this guide, we'll walk through deploying your first agent on Nexora, from workspace setup to live monitoring.

1. Create Your Workspace

Start by signing up for a free Nexora account. Every new account comes with a sandbox workspace pre-loaded with sample data so you can experiment safely before connecting production sources.

  • No credit card required for the 14-day trial
  • Invite teammates with role-based permissions
  • Choose your default AI model provider

2. Connect a Data Source

Navigate to Settings → Integrations and connect the tool you want your agent to act on — for example, your CRM, a Google Sheet, or a Slack workspace. Nexora handles OAuth and token refresh automatically.

Tip: Start with a read-only integration while testing your agent's logic, then enable write access once you trust its output.

3. Configure the Agent

Use the visual workflow builder to define your agent's steps. A typical lead-qualification agent might look like this:

1. Trigger: New lead created in CRM
2. Step: Enrich lead with company data
3. Step: Score lead using Nexora Reasoning model
4. Condition: If score > 80 → notify #sales on Slack
5. Step: Log result to workspace activity feed

Sample API Call

If you prefer a code-first approach, you can trigger the same agent via our REST API:

POST /v1/agents/lead-qualifier/run
Content-Type: application/json
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY

{
  "lead_id": "ld_93820",
  "priority": "high"
}

4. Test, Deploy & Monitor

Run a few test executions from the builder's "Dry Run" mode to confirm the output matches expectations. Once satisfied, toggle the agent to Live and monitor its runs from the real-time Analytics dashboard, which tracks latency, cost per run, and success rate.

  1. Click Dry Run to simulate the workflow with sample data
  2. Review the execution log for each step
  3. Toggle the agent to Live when ready
  4. Set up Slack or email alerts for failed runs

That's it — you now have a fully autonomous AI agent running in production. From here, explore chaining multiple agents together or adding custom tools via our SDK.
